1 The aims of this conference:
The current drastic development of technologies and media show us possibilities of changes in many aspects. Schools, organizations for cross-cultural understanding, the attitudes of citizens for cultural exchange.
World Youth Meeting in Nagoya, '99 is held for the purpose of introducing such new phases of exchanges by citizens and provides opportunities of international communication with the youth as the leaders of the coming 21st century. It is our honor and pleasure to hold this conference as the place to give presentation to share thier opinions and infomration after the young people communicated with the ineternet.

12 Contents: The youth who have communicated via Internet are invited to Nagoya International Center. High school students, exchange students, and teachers get together in and out of Nagoya City to disscuss and communicate one another.

14 Before the conference: Participants communicate through Internet as the preparation of the conference. They utilize Internet to show degital images taken at each place. Comments are added to explain the images in English.

July 30

Participating students meet at Seiryou in the morning.

10:00 Self-introduction of the students
10:30 Chatting time to know each other well
11:00 Preparaion for the conference next day
12:00 Lunch
13:00 Go out with digital cameras to take pictures in Nagoya city, mainly at Osu and Sakae areas
14:00 Come back to Seiryo and make webpages with the pictures and write comments on them untill 16:00
17:00 Reception at Nagoya International Center"

19:00 Go home with host families
