our experiences
on a one day trip through nagoya @
the world youth conference
@before
we
hooked off, we were splitted into several shuffled groups. Ours, group03,
became quite mixed up. one girl from papua
new guinea, a girl from taiwan
and a boy from germany.
we were actually supported by a teacher and four japanese girls who successfully
aided us through nagoya.
sowe
went downtown nagoya
using the subway. without help we probably had get lost!
we
went to a temple(->)
where some of us made a wish. we had a short refreshment so we could continue
our short trip.
afterwe
had done so, we continued our trip to sakae
where we had a look at the stores, especially at a used-clothes shop. unfortunately
it was women's traditional clothes, so we did not find any fitting clothes
for our "japanese-unlike" sizec
our
next checkpoint was the nagoya tower
which we could not visit but only see, and so we went underground.
we also had a look at the shops there, and this time we visited a cd-store
where we got our "trophies". when we had finished, it was almost time to
go back, and so we did.
onthe
way back, we had a short stop at a convenient
store to buy ourselfs lunch. ben, the german
boy, had sushi, bonnie from png
had soba but our third member did not come into the taste of japanese cold
meals.
finallywe
arrived back at school
were we began to make this homepage, and so here we are!
